The cattle's time of happiness has come! After weeks of almost nonstop rain, the weather has changed and it's time to put the Dexter cattle back onto pasture. For them, it can't be soon enough, and they let their opinions be heard as Hilarie and I repair fences and set up temporary fence for their first daily paddock. Then, the feed truck delivers grain for our pigs, and I talk a bit about our animals' grain consumption, grain prices, and how buying grain onto our farm helps keep our soil fertile.
