The Stage 2 theme from Touhou 11: Subterranean Animism
I don't think I've properly heard the original of this for a long time. I was actually surprised at how good it is! I'm slightly mesmerised by the keys (is it a marimba?) at 0:55, I don't think I ever really noticed them before. The mood here is fantastic, full of anticipation and dread as Parsee's attacks encroach on you. But it's also such a lonely theme. Maybe I've been overlooking Stage 2 this whole time?
