Mary is assumed into heaven. She didn't lift herself up there. She didn't claim it as hers. God assumed Mary into heaven because, by the grace of God, she cooperated perfectly with God's plan for salvation as the sinless mother of Jesus. She is the New Eve, the Ark of the New Covenant and the Queen Mother of heaven and earth. God has chosen this and Mary has said "Let if be done to me according to your word." And God is asking us to say the same words from the depths of our heart to chose his will and plan. Then we will be exalted as Mary is. "Be it done to me..."
