The Bias & Bullying Connection

A 2012 study of California secondary school students published in the American Journal of Public Health found that 75% of all bullying originated from some type of bias against a person’s race, sexual orientation, religion, disability or other personal characteristic. Our panel will discuss the connection between the biases in our society and the effect it has on the interpersonal relationships of young people.
