Cabbage rolls with tomato sauce: for a quick and delightful dinner!

INGREDIENTS

500g Chinese cabbage

200g (1.3 cup) minced meat

100g (0.5 cup rice

1 onion

1 yellow bell pepper

1 carrot

Vegetable oil for frying

Garlic

10g (2 tsp) tomato paste

6g (1 tsp) salt

2g (1 tsp) black pepper

Parsley

300ml (10.1oz) tomato sauce

METHOD



Divide the Chinese cabbage into leaves, pour boiling water, cover and leave to stand for 15 minutes.

Pour boiling water over 100 g of rice, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Chop onion, bell pepper, grated the carrot. Heat the oil and add the onion, paprika and carrot. Add the crushed garlic cloves, and then the tomato sauce.

When the vegetables have softened, pour it over the minced meat, then add the softened rice and mix everything.

Fill a cabbage leaf with 1.5 tbsp of a mixture of vegetables, rice and minced meat.

Wrap as shown in the video and place in a baking dish.

When you have filled the baking dish with rolls, sprinkle with tomato sauce.

Cover the parchment with paper and foil.

Bake for 40 minutes at 220°C.
