All good things must come to an end.
After losing my first life in Deceit last episode, I needed to take my preparations more seriously. the game is real now. Pez and I both have a lot to do in order to catch up. We set up our strategies for both combat and acquiring gear and even make some long-term defense plans.
But it turns out none of that mattered. The very next session, less than 10 minutes after the end of the campfire meeting, I found myself in another fight, one where the odds were stacked against me so greatly, it was practically over before it really started...
My time on Deceit had come to an end.
