EPW - Julien LeRoy a Paris, quarter-hour repeater fusee, 55mm, silver OF original case with slide on band at 1:30 to allow or prevent repeating activation, signed gilt spring loaded cuvette, white enamel dial, KWKS, likely a verge escapement but not disassembled to confirm, gilt mvt with pierced and engraved foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s# 9223 on cuvette.
Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, band slide does not engage to effect its function of preventing repeat engagement, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few scattered scratches, oxide to steelwork, missing one case screw; dial with many scattered hls, few scattered scratches, edge flake at 12; excellent hands of differing gilt tones; case shows medium wear, scratch to bezel at 9, scattered dings and dents along band and bezel, ding to lower-left rear edge, substantially reduced engine turning detail with large areas of full loss; bow pivots freely with play at pendant; good domed glass bull's-eye crystal.
