Another Brexit benefit it seems to have appeared or at least some undoing of the damage the UK's leaving of the EU has caused is taking place this week in France. Ireland is building stronger links with France it seems at the expense of GB. Irish haulage has reduced its dependence on the UK land bridge which connected the island of Ireland to mainland Europe as a consequence of Brexit. The Irish Minister for European Affairs was in Dunkirk on Monday at the opening of a new terminal for increased trade between Ireland and France.
