About Our Speakers
Lucia Anghelache is a Reimbursement Specialist at the Ajmera Transplant Centre. In this role she evaluates, facilitates and coordinates access to medication assistance for specialty medications and serves as a centralized point of contact for physicians, nurses, social workers and pharmacists. Lucia is actively involved with government, along with community based and private agencies that provide financial assistance for prescription medications. She also serves as an advisor to patients, their families and health care providers regarding medication access and reimbursement.
Dipika Munyal completed an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Honours in Physiology from the University of Ottawa. She then went on to pursue a career in Pharmacy, graduating from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto in 2004. After graduation, proceeded to complete a fulfilling year of residency training at the University Health Network where she has remained practicing as a Clinical Pharmacist. Dipika now has 15 years of experience working in the Multi-Organ Transplant program (now the Ajmera Transplant Centre). Dipika is a pharmacist preceptor for learners enrolled in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and for pharmacists enrolled in the residency program at the University Health Network.
