The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has demanded the removal of the Pillar of Shame sculpture from its campus. Critics say the decision to remove the controversial sculpture, which pays tribute to the victims of the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown, is the latest example of how Hongkongers are continuously losing their freedoms under Chinese rule.
