Informed Sources October 15 2021

In the same week that there seemed to be more miscellaneous shootings than usual, even by local standards, a crime watchdog group accused the Orleans parish D.A.’s office of a decline in violent crime prosecutions. We will look tonight at the turmoil in the judicial system. There was better news economically where a development plan was selected for the former Six Flags site and where a new video gaming studio is promising big bucks; not virtual but real.
All of this plus the latest on a university area housing controversy, covid rules for Carnival, and the scoop on trash collections are on the schedule for tonight's Informed Sources:
- Errol Laborde, Producer, Informed Sources.
- Anthony McAuley, staff writer, the Times-Picayune/New Orleans advocate
- Greg LaRose, Chief Investigative Reporter, WDSU,  TV, Ch.6
- Mike Perlstein, Investigative reporter, WWL tv., Ch. 4
