Just over two months ago Hurricane Ida made landfall near Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The inner eye wall moved over Grand Isle leaving a path of destruction for miles. The streets are still littered with debris as well as majority of the damaged or destroyed houses are still as if the storm just happened. Some cleanup is ongoing all across the island. Residents will be picking up the prices for days and years to come down here. Fire and ems continues to be called out on injuries from people working in the area. The US Coast Guard also gets random calls for help.
