Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes says “you always knew where you stood” with Sky News host Alan Jones.
It comes after it was announced Alan Jones would be departing Sky News Australia and hosting his final program on Thursday at 8pm AEDT.
“Force of nature; I’m not sure Alan actually sleeps ever, I’d love to know if anyone’s ever seen him do that,” Ms Hughes told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“The hours we used to keep seeing him at functions and supporting causes he was so passionate about to then be on breakfast radio first thing the next morning and just keep going and going.
“I think he will be greatly missed from the Australian media landscape but, certainly, from the Sky family.”
