The South African government has decided to do away with the special Zimbabwean Exemption Permit. This was announced by the minister in the presidency Mondli Gungubele during a post-cabinet briefing on Thursday. The decision could force scores of Zimbabweans living and working in South Africa to return home should they not secure work permits and other relevant documents.
