Many years ago my Financial Management lecture was teaching us about monetary and fiscal policies. He told us a story, mentioning if an agent from central banks wants to identify counterfeit money, they never study counterfeit. Instead agents spend months studying the real notes and becoming familiar with it. In this way they can quickly identify the fake notes.
Yes my friends, similarly if you want to have good success in any area of your life, then be around those who are at the place you are trying to go. Be around those with strong core values and living life on purpose. Learn to become familiar with what is right, in this way you will have a model you can emulate. Here is the thing about life, whatever you are exposed to, you model, and whatever you model you become!
Expose your self to excellence, expose your self to wisdom, expose yourself to God and be around the right people who are far ahead of you, those whose habits and behaviors are worth modeling.
