What Europe Owes the Arabs | Islamic Golden Age | The First University in Fez | Islamic Renaissance

In my latest trip to Italy I talk about the three things how the Arabs impacted Italian culture by the way of 1. the translation houses 2. transference of humanistic values (adab) and 3. the development of universities in Europe.

This video drew on research from on an article entitled How Europe Came to Forget its Arabic Heritage (see https://www.alhakam.org/how-europe-came-to-forget-its-arabic-heritage/)

I started the channel in Covid to give a real insight into issues we're not talking about. so far UNSAID represents the other side. SFU focusses on race, religion, spirituality and politics through documentaries and interviews. Follow @sofarunsaid on IG
