Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the government’s priority is to ensure multinational corporations pay a fairer share of tax where they make their profits.
Mr Chalmers said the government doesn’t intend to go down the path of imposing a super profits tax on multinational corporations.
“We do intend to take meaningful action on multinational tax,” Mr Chalmers said during Question Time on Thursday.
