The US House of Representatives is "certainly" going to swing Republican at the midterm elections, according to Florida State University's Professor Lonna Atkeson.
Prof Atkeson said Republicans should have a "huge wave" on November 8 due to "very poor macro conditions" for the incumbent Democrats.
She also said the US Senate would be trickier to swing a majority for either party.
"I think it's a little more iffy still in the Senate ... I'm sort of betting on a 50-50 senate still," she said.
