An alleged fleeing driver is recovering in hospital after a dramatic police chase across Auckland early Monday morning. 

The 37-year-old is alleged to have stolen, or attempted to steal, several vehicles in a crime spree that brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill. It only ended when the man was hit by a police car while he was on foot. Zane Small reports.➡️ SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/NewshubYouTube
