COVID-19: Synchronised flights leave Heathrow as US opens borders to UK travellers

Synchronised BA and Virgin flights have left Heathrow bound for New York, to mark the end of two years of coronavirus restrictions for travellers to the US.

From today, fully vaccinated passengers from the UK will be allowed to enter the US, bringing joy to many families who were separated by the pandemic.
