Deriving the Maxwell Speed Distribution Function using Boltzmann Factors and Partition Functions

In this lecture, I use the Boltmann factor and partition function for an ideal gas particle to derive the famous Maxwell Speed Distribution Function using the normalization condition. I also derive the most probable speed of an ideal gas molecule at fixed temperature.
